The situation

Where they started.

Google restricts third-party consumer technical support, which its policy says includes online and offline support, hardware repair and software installation.

The restriction reaches ordinary computer repair shops, even legitimate in-person ones, and it hit CompuTech's ads.

We helped CompuTech through it at no charge by making changes to the site. Google reviewed the changes and approved the ads, and the ads began recovering.

What we did

What we changed.

  1. 01

    Ads approved

We made changes to the site at no charge. Google reviewed them and approved the ads, and the ads recovered.

  2. 02

    Found by AI assistants

We worked on being recommended by ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini (answer engine optimization), not on search rankings.

How we counted

Leads are website forms and phone taps from all sources, and visits are the site's own count, both as shown in the dashboard screenshot for Jul 6 to Sep 27, 2026. The weekly AI assistant visits are counted by week, from the week of Jul 6 through the week of Sep 21, 2026.
